Udyogvikas Kendra (an initiative of UdyogVikas Skills Council) collects only the information you choose to share through our enquiry and lead forms — name, phone number, email, location and your area of interest.
- Information is used solely to connect you with the correct district skill center or head-office team.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- Information may be shared with your allocated franchise skill center and relevant industry/placement partners strictly for service delivery.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to infoudyogvikas@gmail.com.
Terms of Use
By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to the following terms:
- Course, placement and mentoring services are facilitated by independently operated franchise skill centers under the Udyogvikas Kendra brand.
- Availability of specific courses, jobs or mentoring slots varies by district and partner capacity.
- Content on this site (including the Udyogvikas Kendra name and logo) is the property of UdyogVikas Skills Council and may not be reproduced without permission.
- We may update these terms periodically; continued use of the site implies acceptance of the current version.
Certification & Assessment Policy
Every course delivered through a Udyogvikas Kendra center follows the assessment and certification standards of UdyogVikas Skills Council:
- Assessments are typically weighted across theory (30–40%), practical (50–60%) and viva/soft-skills (10–20%) components, varying by course.
- Candidates must maintain minimum attendance (typically 80%), complete practical training and clear applicable fees to be eligible for assessment.
- Only UdyogVikas Skills Council has the authority to design certificates, approve results and issue certification — individual centers cannot independently print or issue certificates.
- Fake certificates, mark tampering, unauthorised printing or reselling of certificates are strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
- Certificates validate skill competency; they do not by themselves constitute a university degree — except where a program is explicitly delivered as a recognised B.Voc degree pathway.
Lead & Data Usage Policy
Enquiries submitted through our Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship forms are treated as "leads" and routed by district:
- Each lead is routed exclusively to the Udyogvikas Kendra skill center mapped to the district you provide.
- Centers may only use lead information to follow up on the specific service requested.
- Leads are retained only as long as necessary to deliver the requested service and for basic outcome reporting to head office.
- Misuse of lead data by any franchise partner is a violation of their franchise agreement.
Skill Center Affiliation & Code of Conduct
Udyogvikas Kendra skill centers are approved and governed under standards aligned with UdyogVikas Skills Council's own Affiliation Policy. Every center agrees to:
- Operate within the exclusive district territory assigned to their center, under the affiliation tier approved for that location.
- Respond to routed leads promptly and follow up professionally, regardless of the applicant's background.
- Charge only the fees approved by head office for any paid course or service; free services (employment, apprenticeship, internship placement) must remain free.
- Represent Udyogvikas Kendra branding, courses and certifications accurately — no false claims about placements or outcomes.
- Follow the Examination & Certification Policy above for every assessment conducted at the center.
- Maintain accurate records of enrolments, placements and mentoring outcomes for reporting.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Where a Udyogvikas Kendra skill center charges fees for a paid course or program:
- Cancellation requests made before a batch commences are eligible for a full refund, minus any processing charges disclosed at enrolment.
- Once training has commenced, refunds (if any) are prorated per the specific center's published policy, shared at the time of enrolment.
- Fees are non-refundable once a candidate has been declared eligible for and has sat a final assessment.
- Employment, apprenticeship, internship and entrepreneurship-mentoring services offered free of cost are not subject to refunds.
- Refund disputes not resolved by the local center can be escalated to infoudyogvikas@gmail.com.
Legal Status & Disclaimer
UdyogVikas Skills Council is incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act as a not-for-profit organisation, and operates as an autonomous skill certification and training body. It is not a statutory university or government board, and Udyogvikas Kendra centers operate as its franchise skill-delivery network — not as independent degree-granting institutions.
- UdyogVikas Skills Council and Udyogvikas Kendra are not responsible for misinterpretation of certificates, false claims made by third parties, or the independent actions of an affiliated center outside these policies.
- Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or its services.
- The Udyogvikas Kendra name, logo and brand identity — and those of UdyogVikas Skills Council — are protected. Unauthorised use or misrepresentation may result in legal action.
